The colors grey, auburn, blond, and pink are a few hair dyes that have gained popularity, for their vibrant and head turning abilities. Hairstylists have gotten very creative, delivering the desired styles blended with colors of your choice. Hair dying has become a form of self-expression and art!

When coloring your hair it is important to make sure that you take the proper steps necessary to ensure that you don’t damage your hair. Natural hair is extremely fragile and neglecting to take the proper steps to protect it can cause damage leading to hair loss. So, before you dye your hair do your homework, make sure you consult with a hair professional you trust before taking the plunge. Chemicals in hair dye can strip your hair of its natural oils, so search for alternative natural dyes that are less harmful. Spend money on products that are THE BEST for your hair, rather than spending money on cheaper products filled with harmful ingredients. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Remember you only get one head of hair, the way you love and treat your hair will eventually reveal itself in the end. If you decide to dye your hair it is wise to visit your hairstylist at least once a month to keep your hair healthy and keep your color poppin’!
